Ross & ReThink Attend Gross Global Happiness Summit 2020

A team from Ross Advertising and ReThink attended the 2nd annual Gross Global Happiness Summit 2020 from March 5-8 at the University of Peace in San Jose, Costa Rica.
The summit is an innovative executive education event designed to address the true impact happiness has on individual and global progress. It attracted dozens of international participants from countries such as Botswana, Italy, the Philippines, Spain, Denmark, Lebanon, the United States and Trinidad and Tobago. The diverse group came together to collaborate, converse and share their various perspectives and expertise on the topic at hand.
The 3-day conference featured an impressive panel of speakers and presenters, including Raj Raghunathan, Zale Centennial Professor of Business at the The University of Texas, Austin; international best-selling author of Organizational Happiness, Lars Kure Juul; and ReThink Founder, Ernie Ross.
Ross presented on The Story of ReThink: Creating Positive Shifts in Perspective, which introduced the philanthropic organisation’s trademarked methodology and philosophy, Intangience™. The unique approach nudges individuals to search within for epiphanic answers to a truly meaningful life and expounds on what that might look like for each person.
His session provided profound insights on kindness, compassion and self-awareness and he also shared his perspective on living a more purposeful life, “When you turn to a life that meditates and radiates love, compassion and kindness, it is here we will find there is no end to ourselves and the beginning of the happiest life possible.”
Other topics covered were The Masks that Limit Us: Cultivating Joy & Authenticity Through Play; Unpacking Organizational Happiness; Expanding Organizations Through Conscious Leadership, and Metaphysics meets Business, which unpacked the unexpected connections between science, metaphysics and business.
