ReThink Celebrates World Kindness Day 2015

On November 13, 2015 we celebrated World Kindness Day by delivering #RandomActsofKindness to strangers, and distributing ReThink Kindness Cards in order to inspire others to pay it forward with their own act of kindness.

We started the day off with complimentary breakfast treats for passersby and neighbours at the ReThink office, compliments of our sponsors. Then it was off for a day out on the road, where we treated the hardworking officers of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service to complimentary massages and distributed smiley face balloons and Kindness Cards to passersby at City Gate, Gulf City, and of course, our enthusiastic students enrolled in the Project Happiness programme.

Then it was time for our team and volunteers to hit the road for a day of kind gestures and fulfilling work.

As usual, the students of Happy Hill had a blast joining in on the fun.

What a heartwarming experience for us to touch the lives of so many strangers with such simple, yet meaningful, gestures!

We offer many thanks to our volunteers and our sponsors for their generosity today – expressed through their time, their products and their services. We couldn’t have hoped for a more successful World Kindness Day 2015 and we look forward to celebrating with you again, same time next year!

But…the day isn’t over yet…what kind gesture will you do for a relative, friend or stranger, in recognition of World Kindness Day 2015?
